Turin Hosts the Third Edition of the Torino Jazz Festival

Torino Jazz Festival April 25th to May 1st is hotly-anticipated for an event just marking its third year of existence. The sponsorship from the National Italian UNESCO Commission, in coincidence with the International Day of Jazz on April 30th, is set to resound the festival with the music of South African, Cameroonian, Norwegian, American, Israeli, Lebanese, Brazilian, Canadian, Argentine, and French musicians in testimony to the profound redefining of jazz over the years. This years participants will be CAETANO VELOSO, DIANE SCHUUR, AL DI MEOLA, ENZO AVITABILE, MANU DIBANGO, ALAIN CARON, KENNY BARRON/DAVE HOLLAND, PAOLO FRESU.

Torino Jazz Fest returns with a programme richer than ever, touching on the moods and atmospheres, tastes, films, literature, art and technology that make a tight weave with the world of music.The festival’s main concerts are to be held in Piazza Castello, while side events and Fringe will take place in the Murazzi along the Po River. Also expect lit encounters, film events and workshops, as well as a moving tram with live music.
